Vista Techwerx LLC (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the FlytWERX mobile application, also referred to as Maneuver Tracker (the “App”).

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use the App and related services.

By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information to provide and improve FlytWERX.

1.1 Information You Provide

Account Information

Name or Display Name

Email Address

Supabase User ID and related metadata

Authentication & Identifiers

Authentication tokens

Session identifiers

Internal user identifiers linking maneuvers, lessons, telemetry, and debriefs

Authentication credentials are stored securely on your device (e.g., iOS Keychain) and in our backend infrastructure (Supabase).

Biometric Authentication

Face ID may be used to unlock the App offline when you have previously signed in and are not connected to the internet. Biometric data is processed entirely on your device by iOS and is never transmitted to us or any third party.

1.2 Flight Telemetry & Location Data

When connected to supported data sources (such as Stratus devices using GDL90 protocol or a user-installed Microsoft Flight Simulator bridge), we may receive:

Aircraft position (latitude/longitude)

Heading

Altitude

Speed (groundspeed and/or airspeed when available)

Bank Angle

Maneuver Parameters

Event timestamps

This constitutes Precise Location Data and is linked to your user identity for maneuver analysis, scoring, and session history.Location data is collected only while:

The App is actively in use, and

A flight data source is connected

Device GPS is used only when you explicitly tap the “Center Map on My Location” button.

Local Network Access

The App scans for compatible Stratus or MSFS bridge devices on your Wi-Fi network. No personal data or flight telemetry is transmitted outside your local network during device discovery.

1.3 Flight Telemetry & Location Data

We store content you create, including:

Custom maneuvers

Lessons

Flight sessions

AI-generated debriefs

Notes and training feedback

Content visibility depends on the privacy setting you select:

Private — Visible only to you

Friends — Visible to designated users

Public — Discoverable within the App

Lessons and AI debriefs are private by default.

1.4 Usage Data (Analytics)

We collect limited usage data to improve performance and usability, including:

Feature usage

Screen interactions

Session duration

Performance metrics

App stability metrics

This data is collected in schematic form via UXCam in Release builds only and is not linked to your personal identity.

1.5 Diagnostics

We collect diagnostic information such as:

Crash logs

Error reports

Device model

Operating system version

Performance logs

Diagnostic data is not linked to your personal identity and is used solely to maintain reliability and improve system stability.

1.6 AI Inputs and Outputs

When you request AI-generated feedback or debriefs:

1. Selected session data is transmitted to our backend.

2. Relevant data is securely forwarded to OpenAI’s API.

3. AI-generated feedback is returned and stored with your session.

We transmit only the information necessary to generate the requested response.

No OpenAI API key is stored in the App.

2. How We Use Information

We use collected data to:

Provide maneuver tracking, scoring, and analytics

Maintain accounts and synchronize content

Generate AI-based debriefs

Improve usability and performance

Provide customer support

Protect system integrity and security

Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell personal data.
We do not use data for third-party advertising.
We do not engage in cross-app tracking.

3. How We Share Information

We share information only as necessary to operate the App or comply with law.

3.1 Supabase (Backend & Storage)

We use Supabase for:

Authentication

Session management

Secure storage of maneuvers, lessons, telemetry, and debriefs

Supabase processes data under our instructions.

3.2 Google Sign-In (Optional)

If you choose Google Sign-In:

Google processes authentication according to its policies.

We receive limited profile data (email and display name).

3.3 OpenAI (AI Debriefs)

When AI feedback is requested:

Session data is securely transmitted via our backend.

OpenAI generates the requested response.

OpenAI processes data according to its own policies.

3.4 UXCam (Analytics)

In Release builds (including TestFlight and App Store builds), we use UXCam in schematic mode to collect:

Screen interactions

Navigation flows

Device type and OS version

UXCam data is not linked to personal identity and is used solely to improve product usability.

3.5 Legal Compliance & Business Transfers

We may disclose information:

If required by law

To protect rights, safety, or property

In connection with a merger, acquisition, or business restructuring

4. App Store Privacy Alignment

The following data is linked to identity:

Name

Email Address

User ID

Precise Location

The following data is not linked to identity:

Product interaction data

Usage data

Crash data

Performance data

We do not use data for tracking as defined under Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework.

5. Data Retention

We retain:

Account and training data while your account remains active

Limited analytics and diagnostic data for performance review

Backup data for disaster recovery

Upon verified deletion request, we remove or anonymize personal data within a reasonable timeframe, subject to legal requirements.

6. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information.However, no system can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and credentials.

7. Your Rights and Choices

You may:

Access your data

Correct inaccurate data

Request deletion

Manage visibility settings (Private / Friends / Public)

8. Account Deletion

You may request deletion by:

Using Settings → Account → Delete Account in the App

Upon verification, we will delete personal data except where retention is legally required.

9. Children’s Privacy

FlytWERX is intended for pilots and flight training professionals and is not directed to children under 13.We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If such data is discovered, it will be deleted promptly.

10. International Transfers

Your data may be processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. Where required, we implement appropriate safeguards for international data transfers.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Updates will be reflected in the “Last Updated” date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
